BRIDGET is a teen drama about a girl coming-of-age in America, who abruptly transfers from Pennsylvania to a high school in Southern California. While struggling with the ghost of her late mother, she transitions into her teens. She deals with issues of death and grief, guilt and fear, along with other typical modern teen issues, but through it all, she grows and overcomes those challenges.
Bridget also is not a typical teenager- she is a competitive athlete, an honors student, and bridges the gap between a tomboy and a prom queen. In her journey, she encounters brats and bullies, rich kids and misfits, and maneuvers through them during her cultural transition from the East WCoast to the west Coast.  It is a story for readers ages 4 to 16. While the story of Bridget is mostly fictionalized,  many events are semi-autobiographical, based on the real life childhood of the author.
